Returning students or previous employees: If you have successfully registered for an IT Account within the past year, you do not need to repeat the IT Account registration. Information Technologies will provide a computing services account (IT Account) to you for your academic or university business use.
You must be an eligible member of the University of Calgary community and possess a valid Student or Employee ID number (UCID) to register as an Authorized User of an IT Account. Read more about who is eligible for an IT Account.

The University of Calgary and Information Technologies shall not be liable for any damages caused by delays in providing services under this agreement. You agree to indemnify and hold the University of Calgary and Information Technologies harmless for any loss, expense or damage incurred by you as a result of the use of services provided under this agreement.
The University and its Authorized Individuals may monitor usage of your IT Account at any time for security and Network maintenance purposes and to ensure the effective operation of the System.
Authorized Users have a responsibility to use the IT Account in a professional, ethical, and lawful manner and in accordance with the University of Calgary and Information Technology policies. You may not use the account for commercial activities.
You may not use the account for any activity that:
The University of Calgary reserves the right to restrict and/or limit your use of computing resources.
Your IT Account may be terminated at any time if you fail to abide by the conditions and use restrictions specified in this agreement. Your IT Account will be terminated when your employment or relationship with the University ends.
